Bradan are one act champions for the 4th time. We all had a great weekend in Galway. Well done to George, Helena, Vini, Michelle and of course Jenny for a marvelous production of “Power Lunch”

We have now completed all our preliminary festivals and have won 3 in a row. We took the top award in Mullagh, Gorey and Tubbercurry. That gives us 4 wins in total and places us second on the leader board. We’re off to the all Ireland in Galway.

We have completed our first 2 festivals; Dundrum and Kiltimagh with very different results! We got nothing in Dundrum and won Kiltimagh with a best actress and best director award thrown in! We’re back in action this coming weekend in Mullagh, Co. Cavan.
We will be performing Power Lunch on Wed 28 and Thur 29 Oct at Celbridge Manor Hotel at 8 pm. Also featuring on the night will be Rasper Players from Gorey with their festival entry “Breathing Water” by Ray Scannell.
Our festival appearances will be – Mill Theatre Dundrum (Fri 30th Oct), Kiltimagh (Sat 31st Oct), Mullagh (7th Nov), Gorey (20th Nov), Tubbercurry (21st Nov).
We’re currently in rehearsal for our entry into this years One Act festival circuit; “Power Lunch” by Alan Ball. More details to follow.
We’re not competing on the all Ireland circuit this year but we wish Michelle Reade best of luck as she will be appearing with Rasper Players this year in Marina Carr’s play “Woman and Scarecrow”
